Meet Amelia

Meet Amelia, our administrative assistant extraordinaire!

Amelia is the one who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes at Michigan Family Doulas. She joined our team recently and we are so lucky to have her! She brings a lot of creativity and experience to our work.

Amelia has a background in visual merchandising and administration in the aviation industry. She loves to try new things and challenge herself. She is also a wife, a mom, and a homeschooler. She is always cheerful and friendly, and she brings so much to the table that is helping Michigan Family Doulas expand and grow-every day!

In this blog post, we want to share more about Amelia and how she helps us provide the best service to our clients. We asked her some questions about her role, her hobbies, and her goals. Here are her answers:

– What are some of your hobbies?

I love to run on trails, camp, and explore nature. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts like embroidery, making clay jewelry, and fun homeschool science experiments!

– How do you balance your work and family life?

It’s not easy, but I try to be organized and flexible. I have a schedule for my work tasks and my homeschooling lessons, but I also leave some room for adjustments. I plug in time to spend with friends and get out in nature, that always helps when things are feeling tense!

– What do you like most about working at Michigan Family Doulas?

I love the mission and the vision of this company. I think it’s wonderful to support families during such an important time in their lives. Its amazing what a little bit of help and support in any situation can do but especially when it comes to bringing a new baby into the world!
